Public Service Announcement

My friend just sent me this link, which is what will happen if the Democrats win in November. I won't tell you who I'm voting for, but both Katie and I do have our absentee ballots...

I heard on the radio that Amy Klobachar is beating Mark Kennedy in the polls.

Wow Chris, that is just scary. Pelosi is really out there. Actually most of the democrat leadership is. They kicked out anyone resembling moderation, like Lieberman...and he was even pretty liberal.

Chen, I've heard the same thing. Although I also heard that at least one of the polls was admitted to be completely wrong. There was one a couple weeks ago that said she was like 20-some points ahead of Kennedy--and then later the pollsters said that they had made some mistakes and that Kennedy actually would have led that poll. That's a pretty big mistake. Still, I'm not overly optimistic about Kennedy. I'm more optimistic about Pawlenty. He did a really good job as governor and there aren't any significant reasons to vote against him other than politics. The polls also said John Kerry was going to easily beat Bush on election day.

Chris-Thanks for posting this. I predict that the Republicans will keep both houses of Congress, but very narrowly. At the end of the day, I believe Americans will decide to keep a mediocre party in power, rather than vote in the party that is far worse, or at least this is my hope. The once great Democratic Party is no longer a party worthy of respect. The hard left has completely destroyed it, just like they destroy everything else they touch.

Chen,

I believe she is. But then again, they've never polled me. Turnout will be essential this year. Get out and vote (unless you're voting Democrat)!

Yes, Democrats are to vote on Wednesday, November 8th this year, and Republicans on Tuesday, November 7th...

polls are dubious at best. I heard on the news, and it makes sense, that they really have know idea what the 'cell phone generation' thinks because they can't poll cell phones. That is a lot of voters.

Yeah, they try to get a good sample of the population for polls, and the techniques aren't all that bad, but it's impossible to correct for every sub-group, and very hard to even get most of them.

Renee, you're a crazy liberal who likes Chomsky and doesn't eat meat. When the proletariat overthrow the bourgeoisie, please remember me so that I can get my equal ration of bread and water. :)

i'll do my best.

i just think that old people who are poor should be protected from soiling themselves and that not killing people is almost always better than killing people.

plus, i think voting should be a right.

and i am not a socialist.

I really want old people to soil themselves and I want to kill everyone cause I'm a conservative and I hate voting because poor people and minorities can vote too!

Ok, ok, I'm being sarcastic. Did anyone laugh? I hope so, because I need approval...

P.S. Renee, I hope you know I was joking around. You're not a communist - just a liberal (and liberal ideas are crazy, thus "crazy liberal"). Please keep sharing your thoughts here.

Chris's remark is proof-positive that not all conservatives lack a sense of humor.

good stuff

Abe,

Thanks for the approval. It gave me warm fuzzy feelings.
